Key Responsibilities

• Decision making: Confidently pivot and troubleshoot in a rapidly evolving logistics environment.
• KPI reporting: Deliver accurate performance metrics and drive operational excellence.
• Cost management: Ensure financial efficiency while adhering to SOPs.
• Mentorship: Guide and develop existing staff into high‑performing teams.
• Client relations: Build strong partnerships with clients, requiring travel (own car and valid driver’s license essential).
• Labour management: Experience working with 3rd‑party labour companies (dual employee‑ship).
• Risk awareness: Maintain a sharp sense of risk factors impacting operations.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 Certificate (Matric)
• Diploma in Road & Transport Management, Warehousing, or related field
• Computer literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Leadership experience: Minimum 3 years in a middle management role within warehousing
• Team management: Proven ability to lead a team of leaders
• Health & Safety knowledge: Experience in managing programmes according to legal specifications (An added advantage)
• Willing to travel: Own car and valid driver’s license
