Job Description

• A well-established manufacturing organisation is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join its production team.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for operating production machinery safely and efficiently, maintaining quality standards and supporting the achievement of production targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production machinery according to operating procedures.
• Set up and adjust machines where required.
• Monitor production output and product quality throughout the shift.
• Identify and report machine faults, quality issues and production deviations.
• Perform basic machine checks and assist with routine maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate production records and report production information.
• Keep the machine and surrounding work area clean and organised in line with 5S standards.
• Follow all quality, safety, EHS and production procedures.
• Work effectively with technicians and other production team members.

Requirements

• Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Good understanding of production and quality requirements.
• Ability to identify basic machine or production issues.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
• Ability to work shifts and meet production targets.
• Reliable, safety-conscious and team-oriented.
• Good communication skills.
