Clinical Facilitator needed at Mediclinic

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

• To plan and facilitate identified learning and development interventions to ensure competency of all nursing staff.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

• Develop the competence of all nursing staff
• Ensure the correct application of nursing procedures and policies
• Identify training needs to guide the development of appropriate clinical training interventions
• Promote a culture of continuous professional development

REQUIRED EDUCATION
ESSENTIAL EDUCATION

• Diploma or Degree in Nursing

DESIRED EDUCATION

• Post-graduate Diploma in Nursing Education; Unit Specialty certificate or diploma where appropriate (e.g. Emergency Centre / Operating Theatre / Cricital Care Unit)

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

• 2 years’ Clinical experience as a professional nurse

DESIRED EXPERIENCE

• 1-2 years’ experience as a peer mentor; 1-2 years’ experience as a Workplace assessor
