Job Description

• We are looking for an experienced General Manager to oversee the overall management, profitability, operational performance and strategic growth of the business.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that production, sales, customer service, logistics, quality and financial objectives are achieved while maintaining strong operational standards and compliance.
• Experience within the glass manufacturing, glass processing, glazing, aluminium, construction materials or related industries will be highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the business.
• Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Monitor operational performance, KPIs and productivity.
• Manage budgets, expenses, margins and overall profitability.
• Drive sales growth and identify new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong customer and supplier relationships.
• Oversee production planning, quality, stock control and turnaround times.
• Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
• Lead and develop management and supervisory teams.
• Manage employee performance, relations and development.
• Ensure compliance with labour, health and safety requirements.
• Identify and manage operational risks.
• Ensure company policies, procedures and quality standards are maintained.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business Management, Operations Management, Manufacturing Management, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 8–10 years' management experience.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior management position.
• Proven experience managing large operational teams.
• Strong financial and commercial management experience.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Strategic planning and execution abilities.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Project management experience.
• Results-driven with strong accountability.
