Designer needed at Media24 Ltd

• Are you a multimedia designer with an eye for detail? Can you move easily from a client’s creative brief to a technical project and juggle overlapping projects?  Then you might be the designer we’re looking for. This is a role for someone who is both creative and methodical, prepared to tackle anything from editorial social posts and clients’ web banners to technical assets for in-store displays and leaflets.

What you’ll do

• Design promotional assets for a major retail brand (primary client)
• Design digital assets for the primary client
• Design web banners, newsletter assets and advertising leaflets for the primary client and others
• Design static editorial posts for social channels to drive engagement
• Design templates and assets for web as required
• Work with/craft animations and moving content for social
• Supporting the Group Art Director in delivery of all briefed work
• Working within the CI of the respective brands (Woolworths, TASTE, other clients as required)
• Working to tight briefs and structured deadlines
• Presenting mock-ups/WIPs to the team and/or client as required
• Crafting polished, finished work no matter the brief
• Prepare assets for archiving purposes, both for Media24’s internal system (AZURE) as well as for the client (DAM) with the assistance of the production team 
• Brainstorming content and design concepts with the TASTE team
• Attend planning and production meetings

What you bring:

• Proficiency in both print and digital media (UX design beneficial)
• Being comfortable with receiving feedback and recommendations
• Proficient in the latest design (Adobe) software and confident working on a Mac
• Organised and systematic approach to deadlines
• Willingness to undertake the relevant training for career development eg. animation, motion graphics
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team

What we require:

• Degree or equivalent in design (multimedia preferable)
• 3+ years’ experience working in the design field, preferably with commercial clients or within an agency
• At least 2 years’ experience working in digital media
• Demonstrable experience with UX, newsletters, web & social design
