Job Description:
Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Ensuring adherence to site-specific and overall Anglo American standards.
- Multi-disciplinary team management
- Strategic Asset management including planned maintenance and common reliability practices
- Safety Management
- Labour structure and training management
- Effective Budgeting Controls (OPEX and CAPEX)
- Management of Major shutdowns
- Oversee projects (within limit of authority)
- Ensuring adherence to Legal compliance
- Manage rotables and spares
- Carry out 1st ,2nd and 3rd line maintenance on HME.
This role is at a Band 6 level reporting to the Resident Engineer.
Qualifications:
- Engineering related degree or Diploma
- Government Certificate of competency in Mines and Works
Experience, Knowledge and Skills
- Five years post Engineering qualification experience
- Trackless Mobile machinery (HME) experience will be advantageous
- Proficient in computer literacy – Microsoft office
- Proficiency in English
