Trade Marketing & Management

  • Along with merchandising and planning, develop the seasonal retail and trade marketing plans through planograms
  • Manage the flow of information from planning and inbound, to co-ordinate the story telling effectively in store and across WHS
  • Visiting the points of sale regularly to ensure that the brand is visible, and guidelines are respected
  • Improving brand presence and campaign execution across trade through excellence in in-store planning, execution, and tracking in alignment with the annual marketing priorities
  • Elevate the brand messaging through innovative and creative executions across Tier one brand and product campaigns and all the way through to delivery of information
  • Plan and manage in shop installations, refits, relocations and store openings
  • Manage the creation and implementation of the retail and WHS and trade marketing plans
  • Develop and manage the training schedule of the Retail Marketing coordinators to support general brand excellence alongside campaign launches and effective product training
  • Consistent and effective reporting to Marketing and Global
  • Manage budgets and spend effectively

Requirements

  • Grade 12
  • Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma
  • Minimum 3-5 years Marketing experience within a retail environment
  • Understanding of brands output and the fashion footwear industry
  • Strong excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Driven to set and achieve ambitious KPIs
  • Work well under pressure and with other Team members
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong retail and consumer understanding
  • Strong strategic retail understanding with key insight to merchandise planning and visual merchandising
  • Strong attention to detail and timeline management
  • Relentless pursuit of excellence
  • Strong leadership and management skills to effectively manage a team
  • Creative VM insight and execution management
  • Solutions orientated
  • Work well in a team with the ability to co-ordinate across many parties
