Junior Merchandiser Job at Talented Recruitment Specialists

• We are looking for a Junior Merchandiser to support the merchandising team across product development, sampling and production.
• This opportunity would suit someone with some merchandising experience who is looking to develop their skills within a hands-on clothing manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the merchandising process from development through to production.
• Assist with product specifications, costing and pricing.
• Coordinate and follow up on samples and approvals.
• Liaise with suppliers, factories and internal teams.
• Track production timelines and outstanding requirements.
• Maintain accurate product and merchandising information.
• Assist with client requirements and queries.
• Support quality checks and ensure products meet specifications.
• Assist with fashion and trend research.
• Provide general support to the merchandising team.

Requirements

• 1–3 years' experience in fashion merchandising, clothing manufacturing or a related environment.
• Relevant Fashion/Merchandising qualification advantageous.
• Understanding of the product development process.
• Good Excel and computer skills.
• Strong administration and organisational abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Passion for fashion and clothing.
• Previous retail or manufacturing exposure advantageous.
