Requirements
- National Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- ECSA Registration as Candidate Engineering Technician
- Three (3) to Five (5) years relevant experience in an electricity distribution system or public lighting environment, with exposure to a wide range of technologies.
- Good project management skills.
- Sound knowledge of safety legislation and practice.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Problem Solving skills.
- A high degree of computer literacy.
- Valid Code B driver’s license.
Special conditions may include:
- Required to work in all weather conditions.
- Required to work outside normal working hours as demanded by the exigencies of the service.
- Required to use own transport for which an appropriate transport allowance will be payable.
