Job Description:

• This is a 6 - month contract with our client in the banking sector.
• We are seeking an analytical Senior Financial Officer to generate and report reliable financial data that drives strategic regional decision-making in alignment with corporate objectives.

Respnsibilities include:

• Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead annual budgets, 3-year strategic plans, quarterly re-forecasts, and staff head-count run rates.
• Performance Reporting: Deliver monthly flash reports, variance analyses against budgets, and formal executive commentary.
• Business Partnering & Advisory: Guide stakeholders on profitability, present regional packs to management, and upskill line managers on financial management.
• Cost & Risk Control: Monitor footprint/branch roll-out expenditure and oversee risk management for closed branches.

Requirements include:

• Education: Advanced Diploma / National First Degree (BCom Honours in Accounting preferred).
• Experience: 3–5 years in financial management, ideally within financial services or banking.
• Technical Competencies: Advanced MS Excel, data analysis, budgeting frameworks, and banking procedures knowledge.
