In this role you will:
- Lead, develop and assist the Western Cape regional team to obtain sales targets
- Maximise all sales opportunities
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of Platform and Unit Trust products and services as well as competitors
- Be responsible for identifying and cultivating prospects and new advisor clients in the area
- Maintain loyal and effective client/advisor relationships
- Know the area, the main prospects, the main intermediaries, how they are structured, how they operate, the opinion leaders
- Ensure you have a motivated sales team that is functionally optimally with defined advisor set
- Ensure effective sales training for your team
- Drive key focus areas of the business
- Establish valuable relationships and collaborate with key people in our business
- Maintain competitive knowledge to create and adjust sales strategies
- Network with peers – both within the industry and at Ninety One
You should consider applying if you have:
- B Comm. or equivalent qualification; CFP would be beneficial
- Knowledge of the independent financial advisors in SA
- At least 5 year’s sales/industry experience
- Demonstrable success in leading a sales team in a similar environment will be advantageous
- Knowledge of local and offshore financial markets/economic developments and instruments
- A thorough understanding of the SA Platform industry
- Ability to sell, position and relay technical information is vital
