Workshop Foreman Job at Phakisa Group

REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12
• Previous Workshop Foreman experience - advantageous
• Experience in fabrication/manufacturing, particularly within the steel industry
• Fitter/Electrician qualification and experience - advantageous
• Strong workshop and production knowledge
• Ability to supervise and coordinate workshop activities
• Good leadership and organisational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise and coordinate daily workshop activities
• Manage workshop staff and allocate tasks
• Ensure production and fabrication work is completed efficiently and to required standards
• Monitor quality, productivity and adherence to safety procedures
• Assist with maintenance and troubleshooting where required
• Ensure tools, equipment and materials are properly managed
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop
