Key Performance Areas

• Ensure compliance with payment of suppliers within 30 days Perform monthly reconciliation of invoice registers Manage creditors related accruals and payables Manage salary related accruals and payables
• Ensure that all claims are processed within prescribed timelines Responsible for Salary Administration services. Prepare documents for audit readiness purposes
• Perform monthly creditors reconciliation Enforce compliance to the acts, regulations, procedures and other directives. Attend to Internal and external auditors Compile relevant reports

Prerequisites

• A National Senior Certificate / Grade 12 / Matric plus NQF level 6 qualification in Financial Management/Accounting or equivalent qualification at NQF level 6 as recognised by the South African Qualifications Authority [SAQA]. A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in the salary and expenditure management / various disciplines related to financial management. Computer literacy including MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint; Literacy in virtual meeting platforms. A valid driver's license except for people with disabilities

Person Profile

• An understanding of public sector financial administration and the prescription / provision of PFMA and Treasury Regulations.
• Good Understanding of BAS, Finest and other financial systems.
• Well-developed communication skills / interpersonal relations.
• Thorough understanding of public sector revenue collection processes
