Job Description

• RPO Recruitment’s client, a well-established consulting engineering firm, is seeking a qualified Temporary Works Engineer / Site Representative to join a bridge project in the Eastern Cape for an initial period of 12–24 months.

Requirements:

• BSc/BEng/BTech/BEngTech in Civil Engineering
• Professional registration with ECSA as a Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng.
• Minimum of 5 years’ post-professional registration experience.
• Proven experience in bridge design and construction site supervision.
• Experience in temporary works design, assessment or supervision will be advantageous but is not essential.
• Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering construction practices and structural works.
• Good communication, reporting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with contractors, engineers and the wider project team in a site-based environment.
