Director: Municipal Infrastructure Job at Western Cape Local Government

Minimum Requirements

• A relevant qualification on NQF level 7 as recognised by SAQA;
• 5 years’ middle/senior management experience.

Key Performance Areas

• Monitor municipal infrastructure planning, maintenance, development and budgeting;
• Facilitate long-term municipal infrastructure planning and funding with due regard to municipal budgets and joint district and metro approach processes;
• Facilitate support to municipalities with full life-cycle asset planning, frameworks, policies and systems;
• Support municipalities with infrastructure governance and services delivery;
• Ensure that monitoring of performance of municipalities and provide professional and technical support with regard to the implementation of the Municipal Capital Budget;
• Strategic Management (including change management); and
• Financial and People Management.
