  • Recruiting, training, supervising, and appraising staff.
  • Managing staff and budgets (P&L, Payroll).
  • Maintaining statistical and financial records (daily, weekly, and monthly administration).
  • Dealing with customer queries and complaints.
  • Maximizing profitability and setting/meeting sales targets, including motivating staff to achieve these targets.
  • Visual merchandising and housekeeping.
  • Inventory management (stock management).
  • Ensuring store equipment is secured and accounted for.
  • Maintaining a health and safety environment for customers and staff.
  • Understanding store daily/weekly/monthly sales targets.
  • Producing a store-specific action plan to minimize stock loss.
