What are we looking for?
We are looking for someone with the following experience, qualifications and /or skillsets:
- Certificate in finance (minimum).
- Diploma in finance would be advantageous.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Creditors Clerk or in a similar accounts payable role.
- Experience in accounting to trial balance will be advantageous.
- Experience working on Pastel Evolution is advantageous.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail; committed to producing quality work.
- Experience in operating spreadsheets (e.g., Excel) and accounting software.
- Proven ability to work under pressure, manage deadlines and prioritise tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify issues and initiate corrective action.
- Professional, ethical conduct and adherence to Curro’s code of ethics; a clear criminal record is essential.
- Personal commitment to education and a willingness to contribute to the values and ethos of the school.
