Qualified Vehicle Technician – Stellantis needed at Rola Motor Group

Job Advert Summary    

• We are looking for a Qualified Motor Technician to join our team at our Stellantis dealership in Somerset West. The successfull Vehicle Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and servicing vehicles and vehicle systems across the Stellantis (Alfa Romeo, Citroën, Fiat, Jeep,Peugeot, Opel) range.

Minimum Requirements    

• Proof of Qualification as Technician (Trade Test/Red Seal)
• Min Grade 12
• Unendorsed Drivers Licence
• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician  with brands Alfa Romeo, Citroën, Fiat, Jeep, Opel; Peugeot
• Computer Literate
• Fluent in English & Afrikaans will be advantageous
• Successful demonstration of competency
• Analytical skills and problem-solving ability
• Attention to detail and time management skills
• Solid knowledge of fault finding and diagnostic machines
• Excellent customer orientation

Duties and Responsibilities    

• Owning the customer experience from service/repair to handover.
• Keeping the customer satisfaction reporting at the forefront of all customer interactions.
• Interacting with customers to understand the concern, symptoms, actions, upsell and progress.
• Completing fault investigation through diagnostic processes.
• Completing service, maintenance, and repair activities in alignment to manufacturer’s standards.
• Completing work in a safe, environmentally friendly, and economical way.
• Building, developing, and sharing technical knowledge, including coaching.
• Complying with service/repair processes and standards as defined by the retailer/manufacturer.
• Identifying any outstanding safety recalls, modifications, or service actions.
• Supporting activities associated with quality processes and process improvement.
• Supporting other roles in the aftersales team as required.
