Job Purpose
- Settling disputes quickly and efficiently while navigating competing interests and maintaining customer relationships.
- Work as an intermediary between departments to align goals and provide the necessary resources to settle claims and prevent possible financial/relationship risks.
Key Accountabilities
- Identify root causes of disputes & relevant departments.
- Validate claims & gather necessary information.
- Ensure the finalization of disputes within a reasonable timeframe.
- Be the link/intermediary between the local business & supporting global functions.
- Maintain & build customer relationships.
- Receive & facilitate resolution of customer & sales force queries.
- Read and apply customer remittances to validate accuracy of reconciliations.
- Identify dispute root causes/trends.
Experience
- Matric-certificate and a minimum of 5 years in a customer service environment.
- Diploma or NQF level 5 in business management, administration or accounting required.
- Proficiency in MS office packages & SAP is essential.
