  Position Summary/Justification  

  • The Future Pro – BDMP will support NBA Africa and BAL in identifying new business opportunities, developing marketing strategies, and strengthening partnerships. This role includes assisting with partner activation, event support, and the creation of commercial materials. It offers hands-on experience in sponsorship management, relationship building, and strategic marketing within a dynamic sports environment. 

Major Responsibilities  

  • Assist with partner activation and ensure deliverables are met across campaigns and events 
  • Support relationship management with existing and prospective partners 
  • Provide on-site support during events and activations 
  • Help develop commercial decks and presentations using PowerPoint, Excel, and Word 
  • Contribute to lead generation and business development efforts 

Required Skills/Knowledge 

  • Fluent in English and French 
  • Adaptable and comfortable in fast-paced, evolving environments 
  • Able to work under pressure, especially during peak season 
  • Proactive and committed to exceeding expectations 

Experience Needed 

  • 2 years of postgraduate work experience in sponsorship, marketing, business development, or relationship management 

Educational Background Required  

  • Higher education institution (vocational school, professional degree, university degree, or master’s degree) in Marketing, Commerce, or Business Management
