Warehouse Assistant needed at AECI Limited

Job Description    

• Responsible for all warehouse activities including offloading and loading raw materials.
• Ensuring strict adherence to SHE policies.
• Ensuring compliance to Quality standards.
• Maintaining excellent stock management practices

Required outputs: functional

• Receiving of goods.
• Labelling and preparation of goods.
• Storing, picking and staging of goods to be released for despatch.
• Safe loading/offloading of product.
• Adequate maintenance of equipment.
• Good housekeeping of allocated warehouse areas.
• Safety.

Qualifications & Experience    

• Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years in computerised stores environment.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in stores environment
• Be able to work on systems and scanning facilities.
• Computer literate in basic MS programmes.
• Valid forklift and reach truck driver certificate.
• Valid driver’s licence – code 10.
