Forklift Driver needed at RCL Foods

• RCL Foods Beverages Team is on the hunt for a Forklift Driver . The role will be based in Pretoria West and report to the Logistics Controller.
• The key purpose of this role is to ensure that the loading and offloading process of stock, pallets and crates is actioned efficiently ensuring safety at all times.

Minimum Requirements    
Qualifications

• Minimum matric and/or NQF 4 Equivalent
• Valid Forklift Counterbalance Licence

Work Experience

• 2 years operating a Forklift in a operations/warehouse/stores environment

Basic Computer literacy
Knowledge

• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Quick problem-solving skills
• High level of honesty and integrity
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work shifts, overtime and public holidays as per operational requirements
• Punctuality and attendance reliability
• Ability to work under pressure
• Knowledge of SAFETY rules and HACCP principles

Duties & Responsibilities    
Inventory Management

• Conduct daily cycle count and monthly stock take of pallets and crates.
• Inspect received materials and completed applicable checklists.
• Loading/Offloading the correct product at the right quantity for customers.
• Receiving of crates & pallets
• Supply of crates & pallets to production.
• Ensure crates & pallets are stored in their designated storage areas at all times.

Safety Compliance

• Operate forklifts in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures and Company Policies.
• Conduct daily equipment checks and report any faults or maintenance needs.
• Report any non-conformances identified to supervisor.
• Daily and continuous housekeeping of area.

Documentation

• Maintain accurate records of crate/pallet movements.
• Complete checklists and logs for equipment usage and inspections.
• Capture received stock on SAP on time and reconcile with Admin Team.
