Building Site Agent/Manager – Construction Industry needed at RPO Recruitment

Job Description

• RPO Recruitment’s client, a reputable and long-standing building contractor based in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town is seeking qualified and skilled Site Manager/Agent to join their dynamic team as soon as possible. 
• The Site Agent/Site Manager will oversee daily site operations, ensure project milestones are achieved, and maintain high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage subcontractors, resources, and timelines effectively.

Requirements:

• BTech in Construction Management or similar
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Site Agent or Site Manager role within the building construction sector
• Strong knowledge of building processes, SANS codes, and health & safety regulations
• Proven ability to manage subcontractors, labour, and suppliers
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in MS Office; experience with project management software beneficial
• Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills
• High attention to detail and strong organisational ability
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Professional demeanour and ability to build strong relationships
• Proactive, solution-driven, and reliable
• Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English
