Job Purpose    

  • The Department of Local Government, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a suitably qualified and competent Professional Engineer to provide professional engineering support and oversight in the planning, implementation, and monitoring of sustainable municipal infrastructure projects.
  • This includes technical guidance, quality assurance, and the facilitation of infrastructure delivery aligned with sector norms and applicable legislation. 

Minimum Requirements    

  • Engineering Degree (B Eng/ BSc (Eng)) or relevant qualification in Civil Engineering
  • Three years post-qualification experience in civil or municipal engineering
  • Compulsory registration with ECSA as a professional engineer; A valid code B (or higher) driving licence.
