Purpose Statement
- The Product Head is accountable for product ownership, translating strategic direction into world-class products through effective team leadership.
- The Product Head – BB Secured Credit is responsible for overseeing the strategic leadership, product development, delivery, and lifecycle management of Business Bank’s bank’s Secured Credit portfolio through its products (VAF, Property, Specialised loans etc), loan management workflow, and collateral capability. The position requires knowledge of secured lending markets, regulatory frameworks, and customer segments in Business , and commercial banking.

Knowledge and Experience
Minimum:
Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of secured lending markets, regulatory frameworks, and customer segments in Business and Commercial Banking.
- Familiarity with credit risk, collateral processes, and product lifecycle management.
Skills:
- Ability to define and execute product strategy aligned to business objectives.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Systems thinking and architectural literacy for guiding design and build decisions.
Experience Required:
- 8–12 years in secured lending product management, ideally within retail or business banking.
Proven track record in:
- Leading cross-functional teams (product, engineering, delivery).
- Delivering large-scale lending products or platforms.
- Demonstrable experience in:
- Product strategy, development, and lifecycle management.
- Managing credit risk appetite, pricing models, and product profitability.
- Driving digital transformation and automation in lending journeys.
- Exposure to vendor management, budgeting, and financial reporting for product delivery.
