Au Pair | Lunnwood Manor | R9500 – R10 000 per month needed at Au Pair Extraordinaire

• A family is looking for an AFRIKAANS AU PAIR for their 8 year old, 5 year old, 3 year old and 1 year old.
• Area: Lynnwood Manor 
• Ages: 8 year old, 5 year old, 3 year old and 1 year old.
• Working hours: Monday – Friday: 14h00 – 18h00
• School holiday hours: flexibility required and to be confirmed prior to each holiday period. Overtime to be paid for any hours worked over and above 4 hours per day. 
• Annual leave: 15 paid leave days per year as per the basic conditions of employment. Candidate will take leave at a convenient time for the employer. 
• Duties: This Au Pair will primarily assist the grandmother to look after the kids, mostly at the grandparents’ home. Collect from school, take to extra-murals, assist with and supervise homework, engaging in intellectually stimulating play & activities with child, bathing children, prepare meals for children, occasional Babysitting and weekend work. All the kids go to after school or creche but sometimes they must be fetched earlier and go in different directions. The family does have two ladies within the home to help, and the wife is a full time mom. 
• Requirements: Afrikaans speaking from traditional Afrikaans background. Must like children and outdoors sport
• Start date: January / February 2026 start – permanent contract
• Salary: R9500 – R10 000 per month (gross, before deductions) + SARS rates per km (R4.76)

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

• Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
• Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
• Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
• Must have a clear criminal record
• Must have a passion for children
• Must have Matric
• Must have a South African ID document.
