Purpose of the Job    

  • To coordinate and maintain the effective operation of vehicle tracking systems (Cartrack and PowerFleet) for Pingo. This role ensures systems are correctly configured, data integrity is upheld, and reports are delivered on time.
  • The position supports smooth day-to-day operations by managing SLAs, monitoring system health, and providing accurate administrative support to optimize tracking performance.

Job Objectives    

This role is accountable for:

  • Overseeing the setup and maintenance of the Cartrack system to ensure it is correctly configured and fully operational.
  • Ensuring that Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met, maximizing the system’s benefits for Pingo.
  • Managing all maintenance cases and conduct regular health checks on the Cartrack system.
  • Implementing and managing the Passenger and Light Commercial Tracking system, PowerFleet, with similar responsibilities as te Cartrack system.
  • Auditing Cartrack data integrity.
  • Ensuring report availability at set times.

Qualifications    

  • Qualification: Grade 12.

Experience    

  • Previous experience: 2 years in an administrative role.
  • Experience on a tracking system essential.

Knowledge and Skills    

  • Computer literacy: Advanced in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Special skills: Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively,
  • Detail orientated
  • Strong administrative skills.
