  • To be a Master in the Profession of Driving
  • To have a full professional knowledge of capabilities of the vehicle in which they work, and the rules of the road in the country of operation.
  • To have an intimate and detailed knowledge of the area in which they work, and to know all the ways to effectively get between destinations – to never be lost and to never be late.
  • To speak excellent English, together with the language of operation.
  • To understand the informal rules and driving habits in the country of operation, and thereby anticipate problems in order to protect themselves, their guests and their vehicle.
  • To know how to maintain and care for their vehicle, and to keep it in perfect condition at all times.  Ensure that all the set up in the limousine is ready prior to the service.
  • To anticipate guest needs and handle guest inquiries in a helpful and attentive manner.
  • To assist the guest with the luggage loading.  All Anantara drivers know how to transport more luggage in a car than there would appear to be space to hold it. 
  • To know how to fit and install all existing makes of child seat into a limousine, to the full satisfaction and delight of the child’s mother.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license: Hold a valid driver’s license with required endorsements.
  • Driving experience: Previous experience driving a vehicle, preferably in a similar role.
  • Safety record: Clean driving record and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Time management: Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet schedules.
  • Communication skills: Strong verbal communication skills and ability to interact with passengers or recipients.
