Job Purpose
- Day-to-day business application support and management for production systems – handling system issues, answering user queries and the testing of application changes or enhancements to ensure maximum system performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Business process analysis.
- Business process modelling using any standard tool like Visio.
- Business process optimization.
- Business process root cause analysis.
- Conducting workshops with business stakeholders to elicit new business requirements.
- End-to-end development of new or existing reports, including labels.
- Documenting business requirements in a concise and structured business format.
- Documenting test cases and execution of testing.
- Planning and executing regression testing.
- WMOS Configuration.
- Performing SIT during this phase of the project.
- Assisting business during UAT.
- WMS application support.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
Education:
- Minimum NQF Level 6 – Diploma/Degree in relevant field.
- Relevant courses in WMOS, SQL and similar.
Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience within IT.
- Minimum 3 years WMS or WMS implementation experience.
- Supply Chain Management/Warehouse Management Systems.
- Business application support.
- Knowledge of BI, Report and Labels development.
- Knowledge of IBM Cognos, Zebra Designer, Report Builder or similar.
Skills:
- Excellent facilitation and presentation skills.
- Analytical, process minded and problem-solving skills, with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be flexible and adaptable to changing business environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with other teams.
- Ability to learn and actively seek new skills and knowledge to keep up with the changing technology field.
