Continuous Improvement Manager Job at Hollard Insurance

About the role

• You will lead and facilitate projects that apply proven CI frameworks to optimise value and efficiency. The team prioritises optimisation and simplification before automation, adopting technologies such as machine learning, AI and RPA only where they support clear commercial outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualise and design practical solutions that address root causes and deliver measurable value. 
• Build robust business cases and present for approval to senior stakeholders. 
• Apply and improve CI project management standards and optimisation framework standards.
• Facilitate and support project meetings through implementation, including change management activities. 
• Track and report on delivery of business case benefits, ensuring projects are complete only when benefits are realised. 
• Engage effectively with the Hollard Executive Committee and broader teams, producing high-quality, professional outputs.

What you’ll use

• Root Cause Problem Solving, Lean Process Improvement, Management System Design, Target Operating Model Design and Leveraged Revenue Generation. 
• Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills for analysis and professional communication. 
• Onboarding and support

Required Knowledge and Experience    
Knowledge and skills

• Programme and project management, analytical and systems thinking.
• Lean process optimisation, root cause problem solving, target operating model and management system design
• Professional presentation skills, assertiveness and influence. Advanced PowerPoint and Excel

Educational Requirements    
Qualifications and experience

• Engineering degree or Honours degree (minimum)
• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt is an advantage.
• SAFe certification is beneficial
• Strong project management experience is preferred.
• Experience with large consultancies and Lean optimisation is advantageous.
• Short-term insurance or financial services exposure is a plus
