Job Summary:

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Stock Controller to manage and oversee the organization’s inventory. The Stock Controller will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock levels, conducting regular inventory counts, and ensuring correct stock allocation and storage. Additionally, the Stock Controller will work closely with other departments to ensure efficient stock control procedures are in place.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate stock records and ensure stock levels are maintained at optimal levels.
• Conduct regular stock counts and monitor inventory levels to identify any discrepancies.
• Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of stock.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure prompt delivery of stock.
• Assist with the planning and forecasting of stock requirements.
• Implement and maintain stock control policies and procedures.
• Monitor stock movements and identify slow-moving or obsolete stock.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure efficient stock control processes are in place.
• Generate regular stock reports and provide analysis to management.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Stock Controller or similar role.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot errors.
• Proficient with inventory management software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of stock control best practices and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or a related field preferred.
• Previous experience in stock control or inventory management.

Certifications:

• Certification in inventory management or supply chain management preferred.
