The School of Law has the following vacancies:
SENIOR LECTURER
- Law of Contract and International Business Transactions Law
SENIOR LECTURER
- Law of Succession, Persons and Family Law
SENIOR LECTURER
- Law of Evidence, Civil and/or Criminal Procedure
SENIOR LECTURER
- Constitutional Law (the primary teaching and research focus must be broader than the Bill of the Rights)
SENIOR LECTURER
- Corporate Law
SENIOR LECTURER/LECTURER
- Environmental law (three-year contract appointment in Environmental Law at Senior lecturer/Lecturer level)
REQUIREMENTS
- Applicants at the level of Senior Lecturer must have an LLM degree (preference will be given to candidates with a doctorate in a relevant field of law), a good record of accredited research output, a record of effective teaching, successful supervision, and experience in administration. A record of successful supervision will be an advantage.
- Applicants at the level of Lecturer must have an LLM. A record of teaching is preferred, but not essential.
- Applicants may be required to teach at both postgraduate and undergraduate level in the advertised fields and if the need arises in an additional field.
