B Ed Lecturer – Fourways Job at Newbridge Graduate Institute

Main Purpose of the Role

• Lecturers will develop modules, learning content and assessments and lecture on modules in the Bachelor of Education in Foundation Phase Teaching from 2028. 
• They will also assess work integrated learning.

Key Responsibilities

Content Development

• Standard B Ed Modules including languages (English, Afrikaans and isiZulu), mathematics and robotics for the Foundation Phase
• Assessments

Instruction, assessment and supervision

• Teaching, assessment and teaching practice supervision

Administration and student support

• Support of students.
• Gather and act on feedback from students.
• Administration of student learning experience

 Essential Skills & Competencies

• Foundation Phase teaching experience of at least two years preferred
• Two years lecturing experience on a similar B Ed preferred
• Experience teaching in person and online
• High levels of computer proficiency
• Alignment with the curriculum requirements
• Strong collaboration and communication skills

 Required Qualifications

• NQF 8 Education qualification with relevance to Foundation Phase teaching
• Proficiency in at least two of English, Afrikaans and isiZulu
