Role Purpose

  • Responsible for leading and driving end-to-end talent resourcing initiatives while positioning the organization as an employer of choice. The role partners closely with business stakeholders to understand workforce needs and align recruitment strategies with people plans. A strong focus is placed on customer obsession and delivering a seamless, high-quality candidate experience.

Key Accountabilities & Decision Ownership

  • Partner with business stakeholders to build strong, trusted relationships and gain a deep understanding of current and future talent requirements
  • Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies aligned to business objectives and workforce plans
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines to support future hiring needs
  • Lead and coordinate the full end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, ensuring proactive communication and regular updates to stakeholders
  • Advise the business on targeted attraction strategies using research, market intelligence, and business drivers
  • Proactively source candidates through internal databases, alternative sourcing channels, referrals, talent events, and talent mapping initiatives
  • Provide regular market insights, trends, and analysis to inform and influence recruitment planning
  • Engage and manage relationships with preferred recruitment suppliers where required
  • Own resourcing reporting, including KPI tracking, performance analysis, and insights to continuously refine recruitment strategies
  • Ensure an exceptional candidate experience throughout all stages of the recruitment process
  • Support transformation and diversity objectives through targeted sourcing and shortlisting initiatives

  • Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist managing complex recruitment portfolios within a demanding environment
  • Strong customer-centric mindset with a demonstrated ability to deliver innovative, high-quality recruitment solutions
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and changing environment
  • Highly effective communicator with the ability to influence, advise, and engage stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership
  • Strong networking capability with resilience, flexibility, and high energy
  • Ability to analyse recruitment data and market trends and implement corrective or improvement actions
  • Sound commercial acumen and understanding of business drivers
  • Experience managing tight deadlines and recruiting for complex roles across diverse business areas

Minimum Qualifications & Professional Requirements

  • Matric / Grade 12 or SAQA-accredited equivalent
  • Bachelor’s Degree with HR specialization or SAQA-accredited equivalent
  • 5–8 years’ experience within the recruitment or talent acquisition industry
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering recruitment strategies and processes to improve hiring outcomes
  • Strong experience in research, market mapping, talent intelligence, and stakeholder management.
