KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintenance and repairs on Museum infrastructure (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, welding, metalwork).
- Technical support to other departments.
- Manage technical workshop – ensure it is organized and safe to use.
- Assist with implementation of health and safety procedures and compliance with the Health and Safety Act.
- Liaise with contractors, Department of Public Works & Infrastructure (DPWI) and other stakeholders as required.
- Work after hours for events, functions and when necessary.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Matric. Minimum 5 years’ experience in a technical environment (maintenance, facilities, or similar).
- Carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, welding, and metal work experience.
- Experience using workshop machinery (e.g. power tools, woodworking equipment, etc.). A valid driver’s license (Code B).
