 The Role

• As Chief Financial Officer, you will be instrumental in shaping Media24’s financial future during this exciting period of digital transformation. You’ll partner with our executive team to drive strategic decision-making, optimise financial performance, and ensure robust financial governance across all operations.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Lead comprehensive financial planning, analysis, and reporting across all business units
• Drive the financial strategy supporting our digital-first transformation
• Oversee budget management, forecasting, and performance analysis
• Manage relationships with the shareholder, banks, auditors, and financial stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and corporate governance standards
• Lead financial due diligence for strategic initiatives, acquisitions, and divestments
• Optimise capital allocation and cash flow management
• Provide strategic financial insights to support business development and growth initiatives
• Champion cost optimisation while maintaining investment in core digital capabilities
• Manage and minimise the company’s financial risk exposure by developing and maintaining systems of internal controls, and ensuring that the internal audit and risk management functions are operating effectively
• Lead and develop a high-performing finance team

 What You Bring

Essential Qualifications:

• CA(SA) or equivalent professional accounting qualification
• MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred
• Minimum 10-15 years of progressive financial leadership experience
• Prior experience as CFO or Finance Director
• Strong background in media, technology, or digital transformation industries preferred
• Proven track record in strategic financial planning and business restructuring
