Purpose of the Position

• The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving quality coffee and beverages, maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment, and ensuring excellent customer service in line with VKB Fuels’ standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve all beverages according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
• Provide friendly, efficient service and assist customers with beverage choices.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the coffee station, equipment, and front-of-house areas.
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and complete cleaning and operational checklists.
• Work effectively with team members to ensure smooth store operations.

Requirements

• Grade 12 / NQF4 qualification.
• Previous barista or hospitality experience advantageous.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Physically able to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
