Senior Commercial Specialist needed at Exxaro Resources

Job Description

• As a Senior Commercial Specialist, you will be responsible for crafting and executing comprehensive strategies that span the entire contract lifecycle.
• Your role will involve providing expert commercial guidance within your portfolio, supporting Procurement and Group Contracts in executing contract management strategies, and offering specialist input to enhance contracting practices across all business units.
• You will oversee portfolio management, including contract vetting, resource allocation, and people performance, ensuring that all contractual engagements are effectively managed and aligned with our strategic objectives.

Minimum Requirements    
QUALIFICATIONS:

• B Degree (Hons) (Relevant) (Essential/Minimum) 
• Management Development Programme (Essential/Minimum) 

EXPERIENCE: 

• 6-8 years  Relevant experience in supply chain or related; procurement; and contract management on a management level. Understanding of Enterprise Resources Planning and/or Cloud based procurement solutions (e.g. SAP MM, Coupa).  (Essential/Minimum)    Operational

Duties & Responsibilities    

• Ideal Candidate Profile (Includes but not limited to):

Ability to:

• To provide commercial leadership and expertise within portfolio and support Procurement and Group Contracts with regards to execution of contract management strategy for allocated portfolio.
• To develop and maintain contracting strategies and contract lifecycle management for portfolio.
• To provide specialist commercial input for contracting across all business units.
• To provide a portfolio supervisory role in terms of contract vetting, resource allocation, people performance management and contract lifecycle management.
