Quality Assurance Manager(Deputy Responsible Pharmacist) needed at Reckitt

Your responsibilities

• Lead all Quality activities at the Reckitt SA site, managing the QMS and ensuring batches are certified for release within agreed timeframes.
• Provide leadership and coaching to a committed Quality Assurance team.
• Act as a backup release activities.
• Maintain full compliance of the site activities with regulatory and Reckitt standards to protect our consumers and the brand.
• Manage and innovate our importation, testing, and certification processes for SA markets with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Handle external regulatory and customer audits, maintaining robust Quality practices.
• Strategically develop the batch release site to align with business needs and regulatory requirements.

The experience we’re looking for

• Solid understanding of manufacturing operations and Quality Management Systems, particularly within the pharmaceutical sector.
• Extensive knowledge of South African legal requirements surrounding pharmaceutical manufacturing and supply.
• Proven leadership capabilities with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
• Strategic thought process with the skill to execute plans effectively under pressure.
• Excellent communication, capable of building successful partnerships and managing relationships.
• Drive for continuous improvement through innovative strategies and digital transformation initiatives in Quality and Manufacturing.
