Fund Accountant needed at TMF Group

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of the bookkeeping for Alternative Investment funds, management companies and associated SPVs, processing of journals/transactions in the fund accounting system
• Preparation of all reporting aspects of client deliverables, including the preparation of trial balances, Management accounts, investor reports, statutory financial statements, tax letters and ad hoc investor requests
• Addressing and completing of audit queries
• Prepare periodic bank and other reconciliations
• Managing and controlling the AR/AP function
• Preparation of Payments in the Banking platform
• Preparation of responses for more complex client queries
• Build, maintain and enhance professional Business relationship with clients

Your Profile

• Relevant degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance (Bachelor or Honours degree)
• Between 2-3 years of experience in accounting, preferably for Alternative Funds (Private Equity, Real Estate, Private Debt)
• Strong desire to undertake a professional qualification
• Strong communication skills
• Computer literacy skills are essential
• Other characteristics: accurate, self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team, deadline driven and able to maintain a portfolio of clients
