• Sales, margin and stock planning to maximize sales potential and optimize working capital, meeting financial targets i.e. sales budget, profit budgets and stock targets.
• University degree preferably numerical advantageous
• Knowledge of Merchandise SAP and EP systems or similar ERP advantageous
• Thorough knowledge of long lead-time procurement

• Prepare seasonal strategy document to develop the merchandise assortment plan and submit the seasonal buy plans for approval.
• Monitoring weekly stock management (OTB’s).
• Responsible for all unit buy projections including local vendors, imports, and SOS buys.
• Analyse monthly strike rates and communicate to buyer.
• Manage over and under stocked lines and request vendors to uplift stock where applicable.
• Monthly analyse of obsolete and discontinued stock, including visibility of markdowns.
• To collaborate with Supply Chain Planning on replenishment articles and orders.
• Responsible for promotion stock availability.
• Create visibility via reporting and analysis of data.
• Support store operations via management of store requests and creating visibility via reporting and data analytics.
