  • The Senior Functional Consultant will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and the POS solution. You will work closely with architects, business stakeholders, partners, third parties and internal I&T teams to gather, document, and analyse business requirements. This role also involves analysing business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing I&T solutions that enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Minimum requirements

  • Degree in systems or business-related studies
  • Professional certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) – advantageous
  • 5 to 10 years experience as a Business Analyst in the retail industry
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools
  • Proven experience in requirement gathering, business process analysis, and project management
  • Strong understanding of retail operations and I&T systems, preferably the VBS point-of-sale
  • Proficiency in using business analysis tools and techniques, knowledge of Jira advantageous
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of Waterfall, Agile, and Scrum methodologies is a plus
