Work Description Data Monitor

  • Responsible for the ongoing analysis of health care information, obtained from a variety of sources in all data collection and analysis activities to help ensure accountability and efficiency from start to finish for all programmes and projects, both new and established throughout the Company.

Technical Work Responsibilities

  • Define problems, collect data, establish patterns and draw valid conclusions
  • Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form including several abstract and concrete variables
  • Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Compute rate, ratio and percent
  • Willingness to roove and relocate when requested
  • Create and interpret graphs
  • Analysing file structure, using and creating file layouts
  • Transforming raw data into the required information
  • Interpret various types and sources of health care information

Requirements
Education

  • Grade 12
  • Certificates/Diploma/Degree in computer

Advantageous

  • GCP certificate

Experience

  • At least 2-3 years’ data capturing experience
  • At least 2 years’ experience in the health industry or research industry

Requirements

  • Data analysis and presentation
  • Understanding of SOP/GUIDELINES regarding data
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Computer and programming skills
