Are you up to the challenge?

  • Work closely with Regional Sales to identify market opportunities, recommend options and support closing deals to drive growth for Value Added Services
  • Expand the ecosystem of key partners to increase the footprint and range of professional services and manage these relationships
  • Track and report the regional pipeline of commercial opportunities 
  • Participate in customer meetings and presentations, supporting the regional Sales organization
  • Track and report revenue from projects being implemented and manage associated risks
  • Work with the Marketing organization to create case studies based on success stories and customer testimonies in the region
  • Provide feedback from the region to Product Managers across all vertical markets

Can you drive these processes?

  • Develop an excellent understanding of the customer base and market demand for services
  • Collaborate with Sales Directors and Sales Engineers to identify commercial opportunities, including upcoming RFIs and RFPs
  • Manage the pre-sales phase of Value-Added Services project through the successful handover to a Project Manager for implementation
  • Prepare internal and customer-facing documentation presenting Intelsat’s portfolio of Value Added Services
  • Support multiple internal teams across regions and vertical markets 
  • Manage complex projects in a real-time environment, communicate (written and verbal) with regional executives on a regular basis 
  • Coordinate with internal Product Management, Engineering and Operations teams, work with external vendors to execute defined plans

You should definitely have:

  • A four-year college degree in Engineering or business
  • At least 7 years of relevant experience in Product Management, Program Management or Sales Engineering in the Telecommunications industry
  • Good knowledge of the economics and operations of telecommunications networks
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audience in English
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills in French
  • Proven ability to work in a cross-functional team environment and retain a positive attitude while simultaneously handling multiple complex projects with demanding schedules 
  • Experience working in matrixed organization and demonstrated ability to influence key stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office software suite

  • Proficiency in a third language
