Minimum Requirements

  • Degree/Diploma qualification ideally in Law or Compliance and Risk
  • At least 3-4 years experience in Compliance
  • Strong Knowledge of FICA, AML and KYC
  • Management of databases
  • Self learning

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Strict maintenance of Names database
  • Monitoring shared mailbox and responding to Names requests and queries
  • Opening new creditor entries
  • Opening of applicant name entries
  • Opening of new instructor entries
  • Adding of attention names to instructor entries
  • Correcting name entries
  • Creating new joiner entries
  • Updating leavers details on names database
  • Reviewing spylist and addressing with users
  • Reviewing client’s standing instructions and updating the Names database
  • Reviewing client’s names-related enquiries and routing to the correct department/PHM
  • Consolidating multiple name entries
  • Filing correspondence on DMS / physical files with any SI and names-related queries
  • Providing training to staff on Names database and maintenance of Name dept training manual
  • Any other ad hoc duties relating to Names database
  • Opening FICA cases and checking compliance
  • Sending letter of engagements and FICA forms to new clients
  • Sending FICA forms to all clients who are not yet FICA compliant
  • Monitoring FICA shared mailbox and responding to requests and queries
  • Updating the FICA case for debtors
  • Ensuring that the correct FICA documentation is provided
  • Requesting outstanding FICA forms from client, sending reminders
  • Updating FICA case with clients FICA compliance
  • Assisting the accounts departments with FICA queries
  • Assisting staff with FICA non-compliant matters
  • Providing FICA training to new joiners and maintenance of the FICA dept training manual
  • Attending to any requests from FICA Compliance Officer ?
  • Testing Inprotech Names and FICA rules and sql reports
  • Global Case updates for names-related changes on Case
  • Adding of attention names and client references to Case
