Purpose of the Job
- To monitor vehicles during delivery times, follow up on alarms and report all incidents on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities
Operational
- Vehicle monitoring
- Alarm monitoring
- Monitoring of drivers/vehicles on route
- Reporting of incidents/accidents/damages
- Report vehicle faults to the relevant department
- Re-routing of drivers on the road with regard to urgent deliveries when necessary
- Assist drivers during deliveries when they are lost or can not find the correct address
- Assist drivers when delayed at customers for quick assistance. Liaise between drivers and call centre
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Fully computer literate
- 1 – 2 years experience in transport environment
- Good communication skills
