Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and management of company firewall and network devices
  • Provide on-site & remote support to employees working in the office and from home.
  • Maintenance and troubleshooting of issues related to Desktops, Laptops, Networks, Routers, Firewalls, Switches, Printers, Backups, Antivirus, Servers, Internet and Email.
  • Provide support for cloud-based PBX/telephony system and CRM.
  • Onboarding and Offboarding of employees.
  • Maintenance of an asset register for all devices in the business.
  • POPIA compliance with regard to data protection and security on all company devices.
  • New system installations & upgrades (desktop, network, server).

Requirements

Experience and Qualifications

  • A tertiary level qualification in IT (Required).
  • CompTIA A+ and CompTIA N+ and/or MCSE or equivalent certification (Required).
  • A minimum of 1 year’s IT helpdesk support experience is required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication Skills.
  • Hands-on’ approach and a willingness to learn is a must.
  • Commitment to future job-relevant certifications is essential.
  • Experience working on firewalls and network devices
