Minimum Qualifications / Experience
- DegreeDiploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Ability to work in a quarrying and construction site environment
- Driver’s license & own vehicle will be an advantage
- Reside in the Cape Town
Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Assist with aspects of planned site maintenance to ensure the equipment operates efficiently and safely
- Assist with Risk Analysis and COP compilation
- Participate in project planning and execution
- Participate in Process Improvement projects
- Identify and propose cost-saving initiatives
- Report writing
- Ensure safe working practices at all times
- Skills and Attributes include:
- Technically motivated
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Participate in project planning and execution
- Adaptable to change
- Must be able to work under pressure
- Be able to take initiative and work unsupervised at times
- Proficient in MS Office
