Key Responsibilities

  • The Solution Consultant assists the customer to ensure business relevant solutions are implemented and maintained and assists SYSPRO to achieve ALF retention and growth.  
  • Provide support and or technical assistance related to the SYSPRO product.
  • Facilitate proof of concept and functional specification documentation.
  • Prepare quotations. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SYSPRO, including server and SQL issues.
  • Monitor server resources and ensure optimal performance. 
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their issues and provide timely solutions.
  • Work closely with other IT team members and departments to resolve complex issues.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for troubleshooting procedures and system configurations.
  • Prepare reports on Technical Assessments and provide feedback to customers.
  • Analyze and identify the root cause of issues, recommending and implementing solutions.
  • Stay updated with the latest SYSPRO updates and industry trends to provide proactive support. 

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Qualifications and Experience

  • Senior certificate or NQF 4 equivalent.
  • B.Com IT or equivalent IT Qualification
  • PPIM will be advantageous.
  • 1-2 years SYSPRO experience
  • SYSPRO LearnIT Qualifications advantageous
  • SYSPRO Certifications advantageous
  • BI and or SYSPRO Embedded Analytics experience advantageous
