Your Purpose…
- As the Accounts Payable Administrator, you will be responsible for various administrative tasks. Your main responsibilities will include daily reconciliation of till cash ups for all payment types (Vouchers, EFT’s, Credit Cards, etc), review and reconcile invoices against accounts and maintaining daily reports.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Daily reconciliation of Till Cash Ups for all payment tender types.
- Weekly reconciliation of invoices for local drivers
- Weekly reviewing of local drivers’ payments and deductions
- Updated weekly payment schedule.
- Reconciliation of invoices against inventory
- Investigate discrepancies and ensure discrepancies are communicated.
- Prepare monthly layby reports.
- Various reports to be maintained and updated, turnover figures, Cash banking reports.
- Available to all stores on queries related to accounts / laybys or any other financial transaction.
We are looking for someone with:
- Grade 12
- Diploma / Certificate / Course in Accounts Payable or finance advantageous
- 3+ years accounts payable or general accounting experience.
- Previous Retail experience advantageous.
- High proficiency in excel.
- Hands on experience with spreadsheets.
- Sage Evolution – Retail Point of Sale module experience.
- Customer Service Orientated.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Communication skills.
